Make
the Church Walls.
* Select your preset shapes, rectangle, create as vector checked and Anti-alias
checked, line style solid, width 1. * Make a new
vector layer and name it "wall1". * Make your foreground color
#B09A78 and your
background color #DECDB2. * Draw a vertical rectangle next
to the steeple. * Select your pen tool and pull the right hand top node up close but not
touching the steepleledge * Select your preset shapes, rectangle, create as vector checked and Anti-alias
checked, line style solid, width 1. *
Make a new
vector layer and name it "wall2". * Make your foreground color
#B09A78 and your
background color #F6E9D4 * Draw
another rectangle next to it. * Select your pen tool and pull up the bottom right node a little. *
Pull the top left node down a little.

Make the Roof. * Select your preset shapes, rectangle, create as vector checked and Anti-alias
checked, line style solid, width 1. *
Make a new
vector layer and name it "roof". * Make your foreground color null
and your
background color #6E4C0A. * Draw
a rectangle above the wall2 layer and line the right hand side with
the wall2 right side..  * Arrange
the layers to be in this order before adjusting the
roof. 1.
Steepletop 2.
Steepleledge 3.
Rightsteeple 4.
Leftsteeple 5.
Roof 6.
Wall1 7.
Wall2
* Pull the top right node over to and touching
the steeple and keeping it lined straight with the left top node.
* Move the top left node so that it is even with the top right
node and on the same angle.. * Pull the bottom
right node so that is overhangs the wall2 just a little. * Pull the bottom left node up a little.
If
you need to adjust the wall2 layer, select it and use your object
selection tool to adjust it. 
* Select wall1 layer and grab the bottom right node and pull it up
a little. * Now select the leftsteeple layer and grab the bottom
left node and move it up even with wall1s node. The purpose of
this is to make a corner. See the image below for guidence.

At
this point your church should look similar to this. We
are going to have fun now putting all the trimmings on. Your are
welcome to continue on to page three or stop here and do your own
thing. For those who are ready to continue on to page 3 lets go!
